Parshuramians hold RSC in a thriller

KHADKI: In an exciting match, Parshuraman’s came back from behind and managed to draw the match 2-2 with Rahul Sports Club (RSC) in the PDFA Senior Division Super League Football matches played at Range Hills Ground on Wednesday.

The first half belonged to RSC playing attacking football scoring in the 12th and 18th minute of the game. Sandeep Chavan centered the first goal and Ranjit Pillai the second.

Parshuramans recouped in the half time and chalked out a strategy to give a fitting reply to RSC. They had many chances squandered, but did not lose the tempo of launching a non-stop attack on RSC defense. They, end the end, netted two late goals (both by Rohit Ghadge)– in 45th and 58th minute.

Meanwhile, Aryans thumped Poona Socials 5-2 in another game. Ashutosh Gujar scored thrice for the winning team in 12th, 42nd and 45th minute. Other two goals were scored by Eloysis and Amar in 45th and 7th minute.

For Poona Socials, Raman Nair and Naresh More struck in the 8th and 11tth minute.

SCORES: Parshuramans 2 (Rohit Ghadge 2) drew with RSC 2 (Ranjit Pillai, Sandeep Chavan); Aryans 5 (Ashutosh Gujar 3, Eloysis, Amar) bt Poona Socials 2 (Raman Nair, Naresh More).
