Jedhe upsets Pandit

PUNE: In major upsets, unrated Pinak Jedhe and Sunil Joshi defeated international chess players Dhananjay Pandit and Salil Rabde in the first and second round of the Central Maharashtra Chess Selection Tournament 2007 organised by the Central Maharashtra Chess Association in the city on Wednesday.

Jedhe, however, could not do a miracle for himself in the second round, but managed to draw the game with international player Atul Pendse. As many as 14 chess players are leading the points table at the end of the second round.
