KHADKI: Knights XI trounced Rupali 3-0 in the PDFA Senior Division League matches played at Range Hills Ground on Tuesday.
Knights outplayed their rivals with sheer power and pace. They converted the half chances into goals, thanks to the poor defense of Rupali XI. Savio Prakashan broke in wonderfully in the danger zone after dodging two Rupali defenders, before scoring the first of his two goals of the match.Savio once again walloped a beautiful centre kick into the goal in 40th minute.
This time it was Michael D’Cruz who scored a splendid third goal for his team.
In another game, BEG beat Phoenix 3-0 in a one-sided game. Robert Anthony scored the first goal in 35th minute. Second goal was scored by B B Singh (40th) and third by L L Kunjis (45th).
