KHADKI: Dynamites played an outstanding soccer to prevail upon the dogged and determined Roopali XI 2-1 in the PDFA Senior League Football matches played at Range Hills Ground on Friday.

Roopali, played the dominating first 10 minutes with great character, but they could not maintain the same tempo falling to the counter-attack launched by Dynamites thereafter.

The first goal for Roopali came of Suneesh Anand chip after a delightful angling cross from the right-hand corner.

In the next minute, Dynamites had a wonderful chance to equalise through Kiran Sharma. He took a kick without any power behind it that made goalkeeper Anup Jadhav's task easier to save the goal by collecting the ball.

However, in the final minute of the first half, Dynamites rallied back superbly and blazed in a stunning goal through unmarked Asish Nair from the left-hand corner after receiving a wonderful lobbed pass from the right corner.

Going into the first half 1-1, Dynamites had a golden opportunity to take a lead against their rivals in the first minute of the second half. Kiran Sharma drifted in a curving shot that bumped before the goalkeeper, but luckily cleared the post.

Soon after, Roopali too squandered their opportunity with Suneesh Anand aimed a shot from 40-yard outside the box after wonderfully unlocking Dynamites defense.
They squandered yet another chance in the form of Jitendra Bagade who kicked the ball early in the air.

In 45th minute Dynamites produced a superlative move, catapulting Abhijit Bhosale to kick a drifter, curving over the hapless Roopali goalkeeper.

RESULTS: Dynamites 2 (Ashish Nair, Abhijit Bhosale) bt Roopali 1 (Suneesh Anand); City Club 3 (Imran Sheikh, Robert Anthony, Cedric S) bt Jolly Range Hills 1 (Robin Anthony); Deccan 1 (Bharat Shirolkar) bt Knights XI 0.
